CARY, N.C. – The Link to Green Networking event, which brings together members of the Triangle-area business community, is returning for the second consecutive year to the SAS Championship presented by Bloomberg Businessweek. The event occurs following the first round of play, Friday, Sept. 24 at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary and gives participants the opportunity to experience the area’s premier golf event and network with the Triangle’s top businesses.

The event will take place at the 18th Green Patio on Friday following the conclusion of the SAS Championship’s first round of play, from approximately 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Featuring live music, a cash bar, appearances by Champions Tour professionals and food provided by Backyard Bistro, the 18th Green will provide a relaxed and informal setting for meeting and mingling with other Triangle businesses.

The SAS Championship has partnered with the chambers of commerce from Cary, Raleigh, Durham, Apex, Wake Forest, Zebulon and Hillsborough/Orange County to provide a special networking package to their members. Members of the local chambers will receive a free ticket to the first round of the SAS Championship that includes access to the 18th Green Patio during play as well as a coupon good for one complimentary drink.
